The town of Aalsmeer is situated south of the capital Amsterdam and can easily be reached from Schiphol Airport. The Westeinderplassen are perfect for water sports such as sailing and wind surfing. Many visitors and day-trippers are attracted by the large beach, which is situated near its Art Deco water tower, the various restaurants, and marinas.
