Almen
Op het dorpsplein is wekelijks een markt. Almen biedt verder diverse horecagelegenheden en een verwarmd openlucht zwembad.
Het openluchtzwembad de Berkel ligt aan het riviertje de Berkel.
U kunt hier, naast zwemmen, ook kano’s en waterfietsen huren om mee op de Berkel te varen. Ook kunt u genieten van een boottocht met de Berkelzomp.
U vaart door een prachtig deel van het Achterhoekse landschap en kunt u genieten van de verhalen die de schipper u kan vertellen over de oude Berkelscheepvaart.
Bent u visliefhebber, dan kunt u zowel in de Berkel als het Twentekanaal uw hengel uitgooien.
De omgeving leent zich natuurlijk uitstekend voor fietsen en wandelen. Er zijn vele wandel- en fietsroutes. Landelijk bekend is het Pieterpad dat door Almen loopt.
Verder zijn veel gebruikte fietsroutes: de kastelenroute en de landgoederenroute. Bij de VVV post in Almen zijn diverse fietsroutes beschikbaar.
Vlakbij Almen liggen de dorpen Eefde en Laren. Naast diverse winkels en horecagelegenheden kunt u in Laren de Kaasmakerij Pasop bezoeken en in Eefde is de sluis het bezichtigen waard.
Almen ligt tussen Zutphen en Lochem. Zutphen is een oude Hanzestad met veel historische gebouwen. U kunt hier heerlijk winkelen.
Lochem is een iets kleiner maar gezellig oud stadje en echt een bezoek waard.

If you use our family / group package, you have all six double rooms including luxury bathroom for the whole weekend.
You can use the sauna, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room.
Arrival on Friday and departure on Monday.
