Golden Tulip of the Year

Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts is proud to announce the 2007 Golden Tulip of the Year for the Benelux: Golden Tulip Resort Noordsee.

Based on the results of the annual quality assurance programme carried out by the independent hotel classification organisation ANWB (Dutch automobile association - Algemene Nederlandse Wielrijders Bond), each Golden Tulip Hotel, Inn & Resort has the opportunity to become the "Hotel/Inn of the Year". The quality assurance inspection consists of a mystery guest visit evaluating each hotel based on service, branding, hygiene and a number of other points with the highest scoring hotel from the Golden Tulip and Tulip Inn brands being presented the prestigious award.

 The North Sea beach is less than a kilometre away. You can find a nature museum and the tropical swimming paradise "de Vleijen" in the direct vicinity. Cycle and walking paths start at the front door, and are the key to unlocking Ameland's varying landscape. The nearby village Nes is the biggest and cosiest village of Ameland, with attractive shops and pleasant cafes.
