The Cobra Museum of Modern Art in Amstelveen is a museum for the Modern Art of Painters. You can see a collection of paintings from famous Dutch Modern Painters, especially from the "Cobra-society" The collection you can see in the museum is mainly from Karel Appel, Constant and Corneille. You will find as well in the museum a special collection of Avant-Garde Art. The Cobra Museum for Modern Art opend its doors on the 8th of November 1995, as symbolic idea to the foundation of CoBrA on the 8th of November 1948.
