The Cobra Museum

Hostellerie de Veenen is located nearby the shopping centre town heart Amstelveen, as well as the Cobra-museum is established there. In the garden of the museum "Japanese kiezeltuin" is arranged by Tajiri. Beside cobra museum there is a second museum within the municipality which aims at modern art. This is the museum Jan of of the Togt, which is in the old village of Amstelveen.

The Cobra Museum of Modern Art in Amstelveen is a museum for the Modern Art of Painters. You can see a collection of paintings from famous Dutch Modern Painters, especially from the "Cobra-society"
The collection you can see in the museum is mainly from Karel Appel, Constant and Corneille. You will find as well in the museum a special collection of Avant-Garde Art.
The Cobra Museum for Modern Art opend its doors on the 8th of November 1995, as symbolic idea to the foundation of CoBrA on the 8th of November 1948.

de inrichting was erg gedateerd. ik had al een luxe kamer gereserveerd maar vond dit neit echt terug. het hotel was heel gehorig. ook had ik een niet-rokers kamer aangevraagd en kreeg een rokers kamer. voor zakelijke doeleinden vond ik dit hotel niet echt geschikt.
