• the "24 hour" check-in was the reason we booked this hotel, but when we arrived at the hotel at 8:30am after hours of flying, we couldnt get into our room until 3pm. check-in meant they took your information and would store your bags. plus the staff at the front desk was not friendly or accommodating.

• well ... the room service was a little sloppy (no cleaning of used glasses, no replacement of instant coffee), and the fridge was not operational in spite of several reclamations

• great staff - very helpful and kind. you cant beat the location; we walked out of central train station and into the hotel in less than five minutes. wed definitely recommend it.


• rooms are typical european size, but very nice - leave your american standards regarding size at home, and youll love it!

• the staff were most pleasant, rooms were clean and staying in the old dutch suite" with it"s private courtyard certainly added something special to the experience. its location means that everything is in walking distance and being opposite central station its perfectly located for day trips.

• the staff is absolutely wonderful. they were helpful, kind and very friendly. this was our second stay at the a-train because of our consistent good experiences with the staff. the hotel is also in an excellent location. there cant be a more convenient location in all of amsterdam!
