Over the years, the Ambassade Hotel has expanded considerably. Starting with just one canalside building in 1953, it now has 59 hotel rooms distributed among 10 of these buildings. Eight of these canalside homes at numbers 335 to 353 are on the Herengracht while two others are located at numbers 388 and 390 on Singel. Other buildings are in use by the Ambassade Hotel too, but for other purposes: the ground floors of 321 and 323 Herengracht accommodate the hotel's Float & Massage Centre known as Koan Float, the first two floors at 328 Single house a conference room in antique style and a large storage space, the building at 380 Singel has a delivery entrance and various offices, and the entire building at 392 Singel where only the lower two floors are in use at this time.

Except for the building at 335 Herengracht, all the canalside buildings are physically interconnected. So as not to unnecessarily damage the original character of these canalside homes, small sets of stairs and landings can be found at various places in the halls and in the rooms themselves to bridge the differences in floor elevations between the buildings. Over the years, two lifts have been installed, making most of the rooms easily accessible.

The Ambassade Hotel has a splendid meetingroom decorated in antique style. This meetingroom has a boardroom arrangement and can accommodate up to 15 persons. Your meeting will be in an attractive, stylish environment at a very quiet location.

You can request to be served a variety of lunches in the meetingroom itself or in the Ambassade Hotel on Herengracht just 150 metres away. In the Ambassade Hotel, you can start off your meeting with a lavish Dutch breakfast in the beautiful breakfastroom overlooking the Herengracht.

Staff and employees are always pleased to serve you as efficiently yet as personally as possible. We will be pleased to arrange for your courier services, car or limousine rental, reservations for excursions, airline tickets, boat trips and restaurants. Should you have other wishes, we will be glad to discuss these with you.

The meetingroom is supplied with computer, telephone and fax connections. A flip chart and white board are included as standard equipment. Other audiovisual equipment can be provided upon request. Notepads, pens, ice water and peppermints are provided at no extra charge.

In addition to the facilities in the meetingroom, the Internetroom in the Ambassade Hotel gives you access to a fax, copy machine, e-mail and Internet. We will be pleased to provide you with secretarial services upon request.
