• the location of the hotel was very comfortable. you could reach any sights within walking distance. the breakfast was also very nice.


• the rooms situated on the front side of the hotel were very noisy. the windows were so thin you had the feeling of standing right on the street. we had to buy ear plugs to be able to sleep. the service was a little poor, too. we experienced a weird situation after having paid. the hotelier was very unfriendly even though we didnt do anything wrong at all.

• i needed a place close to the train station - i was only there for 1 night and had an early connection - so for me it was perfect. it was a 10 min walk. the staff had my reservation and was very nice and helpful. my room was clean. there was a bolt on the door as well as a chair and table thing to make "extra sure." i had a huge flat screen tv also.


• my room was incredibly loud. although i booked a single, i got a double on the first floor (#104). there are regular trams and a lot of traffic. the walls are not very thick and my room was small, but what do i expect for the price and location? the toilet was clean, and the shower was tiny. that all said, i loved where i was. i enjoyed the noise and the view (and the drafty windows). i felt "in the city," and would go there again.

• its location and to stretch my goodwill the beds were comfy


• dont expect to get any sleep, walls are paper thin and too many strange noises from the plumbing. cleaning staff literally banging the door down. some of the staff were rude and just didnt care. would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again as we plan to come back to this wonderful city.

• upon my arrival to the hotel i was treated not like a guest but rather like a person they dont need. they told me my card was not valid although it was and i paid by it. the person was angry with me, he nearly didnt talk to me, was very rude. the whole attitude was very negative and i had stress checking in after all the travelling ive done. the staff at the reception was quite rude and not welcoming and not willing to help. this attitude differes alot from other european countries. in germany, finland, sweden, norway, etc. i pay 50 to 100 eur per night and get excellent service and attitude. in the uk prices are higher, but service is also much better. attitude to arriving guests must be far more welcoming. people are 50% of the countrys impression.
