• very nice family run hotel. rooms were of a good size, large bathroom, clean also. elevator worked well and there was internet access for a fee. breakfast was good. if i ever return to amsterdam, i will stay here again.


• about 5 steps to enter with luggage and 3 steps off the elevator, but it was not too bad. overall, excellent.

• location was charming. the young woman who was at the desk in the evening was charming and most helpful. breakfast was more than enough.the hotel was charming. good access to the tram and resteraunts..


• we were placed at the top floor and had to carry our bags up the last flight. very difficult. i was told that we could have had rooms at a lower level. i feel that the front desk should have suggested the lower level. especially when i made a point of asking about the elevator. our room was stuffy without an outside window. again we were told that there were other rooms available. i feel that we should have been provided a nicer room with easier access.

• the room was downstears, so we had no balcony and view on the outside. the taxi ordered by the hotel itself cost 48euro instead of the proclaimed 38 euro, what we found unfair!

• first of all, the location; indeed a very good one. the staff was nice; the break fast- ok but,could be better if will be not exactly the same each day. anyway, l enjoyed to stay in your hotel and for sure next time when l will come to amsterdam l will also check yours hotel availability. thank you for your good services ,one more time. maria -romania


• no offense but, the rooms cleaning could be better , especially to bathroom: water evacuation from bathroom had some problem, no separate shampoo and sower gel . the bed was too soft but, this can be only a personal taste matter. the 4% extra payment for cc payments is not a very "comfortable" one, aether .

• service was less than friendly/helpful the majority of our stay. the first night we stayed there was spent in a single room, due to overbooking. didnt offer any compensation for the first night stay in smaller room. staff stated that our stay was booked so far in advance that they could not give us a cheaper rate for the first night in the smaller room.

• the hotelier didnt admit his own mail confirmation of room tariff (lower and including city tax), and forced us to pay another much higher tariff plus city tax. maybe he regreted his earlier offer, but he didnt even apoloigize for it. this is our 3rd year accomodating in this hotel, but we wont come back definately. rooms are very small, and this year the tariff has been dramatically increased, but still with the same quality.
