• clean, safe and in a great location...in a quiet residential area in walking distance to everything. there are many shops, pubs and restaurants in the neighborhood. breakfast was generous and healthy. staff friendly and helpful.


• the safety chain was missing from the inside of the rooms door. also the tv had no remote - it was high up on a wall - and you could hardly hear it. it was not possible to turn up the volume. both items were brought to the attention of the hotel staff, who said they would make a note of it, but nothing was done to remedy the situation. but neither was a big problem. otherwise hotel was fine although a bit pricey for what was essentially a backpackers hotel room.

• i was the most dirty hotel i ever been to. and i been to a lot. the bath om the third floor was broken (it was not instalt) so two floors had to share one bath. not wery nice. we payed for tree days but left after two.

• de bedden waren ronduit oncomfortabel. veel zaken waren kapot, o.a. de douche, het rolluik, de tv en de afvalemmer. de inrichting en de ruimte waren minimaal te noemen.

• no lift. cramped room. decor was one notch above college dormitory. smoke alarm so sensitive that cigarettes in my smoking-permitted room required that the window be open to the cold outside air.

• lhôtel est bien situé, mais actuellement très bruyant, car il y a un chantier juste en face. heureusement, nous avons pu changer de chambre et avoir un chambre donnant derrière.


• les photos sont trompeuses. les chambres sont moins jolies que celles montrées sur leur site. le prix est élevé pour la chambre, mais les prix des hôtels à amsterdam sont élevés...

• ontbijt was niet zo goed georganiseerd, we moesten erg lang wachten voor we iets kregen. verder onacceptabel veel bouwlawaai aan de voorkant van het hotel, had wel vermeld kunnen worden. 2 persoonsbed van kamer 11 was van slechte kwaliteit.

• at first they only didnt vacum the floor, the last day they didnt even give us clean towels.. dirty.. some of the stuff really wasnt cool... there was only one person who had to fix breakfast which made everybody wait for so long.

• bagage kon voor inchecken al achtergelaten worden. kamer kon direct veranderd worden (ivm bouwwerkzaamheden voorzijde hotel). vriendelijk personeel.


• douches op gang waren sinds lange tijd afgesloten; douchen was alleen mogelijk op een verdieping lager, aan de andere kant van het gebouw. smalle trappen, geen lift aanwezig. bedden waren instabiel en extreem luidruchtig! vieze lucht (urine) op de gangen. s ochtends geluidsoverlast van de buren. beslist af te raden!

• het lag zeer dicht bij ons reisdoel; studio plantage aan de pl. kerklaan. de dame van het ontbijt was zeer vriendelijk. het ontbijt was ook goed binnen te houden.


• onze kamer (26) bevond zich pal boven de lichtbak met de tekst hotel; hierdoor was het niet echt donker s nachts (het licht scheen onbesuisd door de ikea-lapjes heen). de kamer was aan de kleine kant (voor één nacht niet zo erg) en pal tegenover het hotel (maar daar kunnen zij ook niets aan doen) vonden bouwwerkzaamheden plaats.
