Hotel Chic and Basic Amsterdam is located in one of the most quiet and charming quarters of the city centre.

As the Herengracht changes into the Brouwersgracht, behind three historical façades, you will discover 25 rooms, two of which are suites and one single room.

After having been thoroughly renovated, a process during which their individual character has been carefully preserved, all rooms have been decorated and refurnished to a high standard, providing all modern amenities.

The management and staff of Hotel Chic and Basic Amsterdam have made it their goal for every guest to receive the best service possible. An exceptional hotel doesn't make its name only through its particularly central location or well-appointed rooms.

Room rates include a breakfast buffet and a well-stocked drink machine in the breakfast-room. During the afternoon hours, you can stop in at the lobby where complimentary coffee and tea is served, an excellent opportunity not only to collect information from our staff, but also to exchange tips and ideas with other guests.

This extra service gives our guests the possibility of making reservations and buying movie and/or the theatre tickets. Amsterdam offers you a wide range of cultural activities. It is the home of three internationally renowned institutions: the National Ballet, the Nederlandse Opera and the Concertgebouworkest.

Cancellation & conditions

Cancellation must be noticed 24 hours before arrival at the hotel.

If cancelled on shorter notice than 24 hours we shall be constrained to charge you 1 night stay. In case of no show one night stay will be charged.
