Dam Square
Dam square is the physical center of the city ever since the dam was built to keep the Zuiderzee (Southern sea) out. In the middle of the square is the National Monument, dedicated to all victims of war throughout the world. The west side of the square is flanked by the Royal Palace.

- vermits ook de lift met een kaart werkt had ik een veilig gevoel. ik kreeg ook een 2-persoonskamer voor mij alleen wat aangenaam was.
- de ontbijtruimte is wat klein zodat ik samen met vreemde mensen aan tafel moest zitten.

- de slechte parkeermogelijheden of toch redelijk dure oplossing met parkeergarage. hotelprijs is prima maar met parkeergeld voor een nacht toch prijzig.
