• made a reservation for double, got twin beds, the room was extremely small, carpets were not cleaned, unlike advertised there was no free internet in the rooms, the computer for internet in downstairs was broken and an additional charge was for wifi, hotel didnt accept diners card for payment although it was accepted for reservation, the guests were smoking in the corridors so that you were able to smell it in the rooms. overpriced shithole.

• the beds are possibly the most comfortable beds me and my partner have ever slept in. lovely breakfasts in the morning to keep you going for long days in amsterdam. very friendly staff, and the baggage storage room is very handy if you have an evening return flight. in anb extremely good location.


• although i think it deserves a 4 star, it is only a three star, however until it is a four star the prices should be three star prices, its slightly pricey, but i am prepared to pay it because it is a lovely hotel. one critism would be that i e-mailed the hotel twice and neither were replied too, i was arriving for a birthday and was hoping i may get a nice room with a view or something a little bit more special which i had requested in the e-mails.

• onze kamer lag recht onder het restaurant en vanaf 7 uur s ochtends werden we gewekt door voetstappen en gepraat van boven. heel erg storend!

• the reserved room was not available when we arrived. the hotel lady had a "no problem" attitude when she gave us a more expensive room for the same rate.


• in general, the hotel needs more maintenance. the hall/stair carpet is getting threadbare; the window sill in our room was rotted and falling off.

• we konden maar van 07.00 tot 09.00 uur ontbijten en om 10.15 stond er een man op onze kamer die zij dat we voor 11.00 uur moetsen uitchecken, terwijl bij de boeken stond 12.00 uur.
