• de badkamer was proper maar echt uitgeleefd en verdufr - de kamer was ook dringend aan een opfrisbeurt toe, door de schaarse verlichting konden we niet echt zien of ze al dan niet proper was - een paar jaar geleden logeerden we in a-train hotel te amsterdam (vergelijkbaar qua prijs) daar was alles tiptop.we verwachten hetzelfde type hotel (deze verwachting wordt ook geschept door de website van het damrak hotel) maar niets was minder waar. het hotel deed me denken aan een goedkoop backpackers hotel ergens in the middle of nowhere. over het ontbijt is echt niet veel positiefs te zeggen,alleen toastbrood (hetwelk zelfs nog bevroren was)- slechts twee krammikige broodroosters voor alle gasten, het ontbijt was opgesteld in buffet, was heel plakkerige bedoening aan de koffie,melk en fruitsap. was geen mineraalwater en water voor thee, het is ook heel moeilijk om met een steakmes boter en/of jam op je boterham te smeren!onze conclusie: schaf het ontbijt af en verminder de prijs. tweede conclusie: geen aanrader en niet voor herhaling vatbaar. ps: bij aankomst bleek dat we geen proper lakens hadden, dit werd na melding aan de receptie onmiddellijk rechtgezet

• very rude staff at front desk. room very dirty (linen too) and very old forniture. worst hotel i have ever been. they pretend to be a 3 stars hotel but they deserve max 1 star. keep away!

• de kamers waren niet gerenoveerd. sommige gedeeltes van de muur waren kapot de schilderijen hingen verkeerd. en ze hadden de deur gerepareerd met tape.

• didnt like the fact that the hotel reception was in the middle of a restaurant, the walls of the rooms were very thin and you could hear everything !! bathroom a bit small but have been in worse.

• the room was not like the room which was presented on the website. its a bit older, the furniture was not so new. there was smell of smoking in the room. the walls are quite thin, you can hear the neighbours.

• our room was on the front, and there is no double glazing, so it was really noisy. the hotel should not be listed as a 3* hotel- i would say more of a 1-2*! the rooms & furniture were old & shabby and the minute bathroom was mouldy with the plaster peeling off the ceiling. the beds had seen better days too & were really uncomfortable & there was a mouse trap under the dresser.
