• we had one of the bigger rooms. very friendly staff, good breakfast. the hotel is situated near to leidsplein but was mostly quiet. room/bath were clean. supermarkets are near by.


• no safe in the room to lock money, very steep stairs if you dont want to use the elevator

• conveniently located, safe and quiet, good buffet breakfast, fast internet access/wi-fi, elevator.


• although there was a telephone set in the room, it was not possible to make outside phone calls (allegedly we could receive them), and the public phone in the lobby did not work. we could not use our 800 pre-paid phone cards for international phone calls. as in holland you cannot make 800 phone calls from public phones, it would have been good to be able to make them from the hotel and save on our cell phone costs.

• great location around the corner from the leidseplein and canal boat tours. nice rooms, friendly staff. the included breakfast was nice including ham, eggs and cheese, not just rolls and pastries.

• it felt cozy for some reason, although the rooms are not exactly modernly furbished. the receptionist was really helpful and cheerful throughout, the sheets were clean. its also close to leidseplein which is a nice place in amsterdam.

• hotel de trato amable, discreto y familiar. las habitaciones son pequeñas pero tienen todos los servicios. el hotel se encuentra cerca de la plaza leidseplein. bien comunicado con bus desde el aeropuerto,(mejor que con el tren y tranvia, nos informaron en el hotel.

• essayer de prendre lescalier à la place de lascenseur est une expérience dangereuse. trying to take the stairs instead of the elevator is a dangerous experiment.

• alles was schoon. het ontbijt was ook ok. we konden de bagage daar laten de dag van de afreis (wel niet in een afgesloten kamer)


• geen info (stadsplan e.d.) over a´dam aanwezig in het hotel. de eigenaresse wilde dat we op voorhand zouden betalen, dat hebben we nog nooit ergens meegemaakt, en dus ook geweigerd. de lamp boven een van de bedden werkte niet en er zaten geen batterijen in de afstandsbediening van de tv. de eigenaresse was ook niet echt vriendelijk.
