Hotel Heemskerk is the smallest 3 star hotel of Amsterdam. The hotel has 9 different rooms, all decorated in authentic style. The comfortable family hotel is situated in a historical building designed in 1927 in the architectural style of the 'Amsterdamse School'. Hotel Heemskerk is a NON SMOKE hotel, only at the garden it is allowed to smoke.

We are located in the beautiful and quiet surroundings of the museum area where you will find the Van Gogh Museum, Rijks Museum and the Museum of Modern Art at the new Museum plein. The famous Vondelpark is just around the corner. For some exciting nightlife you can visit the Leidse plein at only ten minutes walking distance. The RAI Congress Centre is easy to reach by foot or public transport.
The duffet breakfast is between 08:00-10:00. If you prefer a early breakfast, please let us know the day before, and if you want a late breakfast after 10:00 you can have serials, coffee, tea All rooms include amenities such as a tea or coffee maker, hairdryer in bathrooms and minibar. Iron is available upon request. The hotel is more than willing to give you a helping hand in finding the activities and sights that you prefer. We can advice on tours like Sightseeing Amsterdam, Canal cruises, Walks through the Red Light District and much more. Art lovers can visit the Royal Palace, the Van Gogh Museum, Rijks Museum with the famous 'Nightwatch' from Rembrandt or the Museum of Modern Art. Amsterdam has something for everyone!

We don't serve dinner at our hotel but we have a wide variety of excellent restaurants in our neighbourhood. Together we can select a restaurant and we will make the reservations for you.
