• perfecto para una familia como la nuestra (con tres niños mayores). en un barrio bonito, muy bien comunicado y a la vez tranquilo, cerca de todos los lugares de interés. al lado de los mejores parques (vondelpark, museumplein) para jugar o montar en bici después de las visitas de la mañana. el hotel, sin lujos (no los buscábamos), está bien conservado y limpio. el personal, muy educado y eficiente, atendió amablemente todas nuestras demandas (reserva de taxi, ...) el desayuno muy bien (los niños tuvieron ración "extra" de chocolate todos los días...)

• our room was just ridiculously small, even by european standards. it was absolutely not a room for two people. there was literally no room to put our luggage and we had nowhere to even stand. we stayed in other hotels this trip that were small but none compared with the tininess of this room.

• the hotel is in an excellent location, very quiet but so close to so many of the tourist sites in amsterdam. we could walk to most places and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the location.


• unfortunately we were in the smallest room in the hotel - for 6 nights. the room was very cramped and we felt uncomfortable spending time in the room, even though everything was at hand. the room should only be used for singles, in my opinion.

• wonderful stay even though only one night. ruth at the front desk made a couple of phone calls for me and helped me rebook a closer car rental. she was fantastic! other staff was just as good. breakfast was tasty as well. we would stay here again in a hearbeat. gregory (the cat) was a highlight. even though a hotel, we felt we staying with a family.


• only less than perfect fact was that we were a family of four (two adults, two adult sized teens) and one of the single beds in the family room was a chair that is converted to a bed...just a bit uncomfortable. no air con but fan provided which was ample even in the summer- this was not a negative to us.
