  • loud talking at reception early in the morning wakes us up in the morning. fruit for breakfast (apple, kiwi, mandarin). box of tissues in the bedroom. cleaning could be better - hair in the bad, bottle of water of previous guest under the bed.

  • rooms were too small,and beds were not comfortable at all.the rates are on the high side when compared with the other hotels and when service quality considered.actually ,if we had an idea about the rooms,we would definitely not choose this hotel.there is even no place to move inside the room.the only positive thing is the location of the hotel.

  • nice staff willing to answer any questions and give suggestions on what to see and where to dine. the elevator, although slow, was a lifesaver getting suitcases up to the top floor. the location is in a more residential area so the city noises are not as intrusive. having a bathroom attached to each of the rooms was a nice plus.

  • good location. friendly owners and staff. good breakfast in pleasant dining room with patio doors on to garden where you could watch green parrots from the nearby vondelpark feeding at the bird feeder. room had everything you need - hairdryer, safe, fridge and mini bar and comfortable beds.

  • we were on the 4th floor and there was a lift but it was tiny (3 not too fat people maximum). once we got used to the cramped space and slow speed it was fine. no other complaints.

  • when i was checking in, i was asked to pay my bill in full. the man at the desk said that this was their policy, to have their guests pay when checking in. then when i was checking out, i was asked to pay the bill again. it was a good thing that i had my receipt to show that i already paid. if it was their policy to have their guests pay first, they wouldnt have asked to pay when checking out. perhaps, the fact that i was not white made a difference to them and they doubted my ability to pay. i love to travel and i traveled in europe before, i never paid my bill when checking in. perhaps this is a commentary on rich vs. poor. netherlands being one of the richest country, doesnt trust the non-white tourists, whereas, other countries not so rich, i was welcomed. needless to say, i would never be using this hotel again nor will i recommend it to my family and friends.
