Information about Hotel Imperial

The Imperial Hotel is a small family-run hotel with 14 rooms, located in the centre of Amsterdam on a picturesque, traffic-free square, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, and a short walk to the museums. The hotel is ideal for couples, honeymooners and families, in a calm, relaxed surrounding.

Note: this is a non-smoking hotel, and smoking of any substance is not permitted anywhere on the premises.

We are situated on a traffic-free square adjacent to one of Amsterdam’s oldest canals, and are just a short walk away from the major museums (the Rijk, the Van Gogh, and the Anne Frank House), the famous flower market, the shopping district, the flea market, two cinema complexes, and many restaurants and cafes. There is a 24-hour taxi stand and tram stop around the corner with trams to Central Station and to the RAI Convention Centre.
Each room has been recently renovated and decorated, and has its own unique style and ambiance. It is your home away from home. The rooms are charming, intimate and comfortable. There are firm, thick mattresses on the beds, large bath towels in the bathrooms, colourful decor, and real furniture (not 'hotel plastic').

Each room has cable colour TV (26 channels, incl. 24 hr. film channel, free of charge), a direct dialling telephone with data port, thermo-pane sound-proofed windows, mosquito screens, and an air ventilation system. There are hair dryers available at reception, free of charge. You can make your own coffee and/or tea in the room. A tray with a water kettle and portions of coffee and or tea is available at a small charge per person. Every room has its own private bathroom (in most there is a Jacuzzi shower cabin).

  For the triple room you must specify your bed preference: either three separate single beds, or one large double bed that sleeps two persons and a separate single bed. Cancellation & conditions

Your credit card details are required to guarantee your booking up to your arrival at the hotel. Payment will be made exclusively to the hotel. If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 2 weeks before your date of arrival. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.) Any booking not taken up and not cancelled 2 weeks before arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night. A different cancellation policy applies for group bookings. For group bookings ( from 8 rooms or more ) the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) apply.
