Van Gogh Museum

Een bezoek aan het Van Gogh Museum is een unieke ervaring. Nergens ter wereld is het mogelijk om zoveel schilderijen van Vincent van Gogh bij elkaar te zien. In het museum kunt u de ontwikkeling in het werk van de kunstenaar op de voet volgen of zijn schilderijen vergelijken met werk van andere 19e eeuwse kunstenaars uit de collectie. Daarnaast is er een uitgebreid aanbod aan tentoonstellingen over uiteenlopende onderwerpen uit de 19de-eeuwse kunstgeschiedenis.

Het Van Gogh Museum is gelegen aan het Museumplein in Amsterdam, tussen het Rijksmuseum en het Stedelijk Museum. De ingang van het museum bevindt zich aan de Paulus Potterstraat 7. Het museum is bereikbaar met tram 2 en 5 vanaf het Centraal Station. Op de kruising Paulus Potterstraat-Van Baerlestraat stoppen de tramlijnen 3 en 12. Voor minder validen is het museum goed toegankelijk. Alle verdiepingen zijn per lift bereikbaar; rolstoelen en wandelwagens zijn gratis beschikbaar.

kamers ers schoon en de ligging is perfect. alles is bij de hand en anders heb je de tram voor de deur om er te komen.

a little noice from outside while guest from the dicso nearby was ouside and leaving at 4 o colck at night(even on a monday!!) the cleaning of the street with motorized wehicles early in the morning.

this is the third time that we have stayed at the hotel imperial and have always found it an enjoyable stay and cannot fault it in any way, every time we come to amsterdam it is the first hotel we try to book because we haven't found another to compare to its high standards, it is hard to believe that it is only a two star rating.

could find no criticism of this hotel whatsoever.

we were made to wait a long time for the room to be ready. when we were unhappy at the view of a brick wall we had the staff were less than helpful and uncaring. the shower was chipped and unsafe and the breakfast was stale.
