There is a better way of discovering the magnificent narrow streets, namely a cruise along the canals. You can enjoy such a cruise throughout the year. The possibilities range from standard canal cruises lasting one hour through to cruises of four hours including dinner. In the evening you can experience special candlelight cruises. You then cruise through the lighted center of Amsterdam. Or how about a relaxed barbecue on the water together with friends and family? Canal cruises are also ideal for a company party with a difference. Anything is possible on Amsterdam's canals

Information about Hotel Max in Mokum

Hotel Max offers clean and reasonably priced tourist accommodation in the centre of Amsterdam. All double rooms were recently redecorated, the bathrooms were renovated. In february 2007 we opened the new breakfast room and lounge. You can use wireless Internet (WiFi) in the entire hotel. At the reception we sell the internet cards for this service. All rooms are non-smoking! The hotel is situated in the popular ‘de Pijp’ area, within walking distance of the Rembrandt Square, Dam Square and Leidse Square. After a stroll over the famous Albert Cuijp market you’ll reach the Rijks Museum and van Gogh Museum. These top attractions lie in the vicinity of the hotel, just as many theatres and the Royal Concertgebouw. All these places of interest can be easily reached by public transport as well. Other places worth visiting like the Anne Frank House, Artis Zoo, the Maritime Museum, Madame Tussaud’s Sex Museum, Rembrandt’s house, the Amsterdam Historical Museum and so on are all located within a 30 minutes walking distance. For visitors of the RAI Convention Centre the location is pre-eminently suitable: you can reach it in 10 minutes. Please note: You need to notify the hotel when you want to check in later than 5pm.
