Artis Zoo
Artis is a fascinating zoo. In an area of 14 hectares around 700 species of animals provide a magnificent overview of the entire animal kingdom. Amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, mammals and insects... all are superbly represented. Artis's renowned Aquarium brings you face to face with … the secret life of Amsterdam's canals! Around the zoo you'll find many more Dutch and European animal and plant species, as well as more exotic ones. You can also come to quench your thirst for knowledge at the Planetarium, the museums and all kinds of smaller exhibitions.

You will find us in a "Manor House" at the Plantage Parklaan, on a nice and quiet spot in the centre of Amsterdam at 10 minutes walking distance from attractions like the Rembrandplein, the Stopera (The City Hall), Carré (main theatre), Artis (the Zoo) and the Waterlooplein with it’s world famous flea market.The red light district with it’s nice little bars and it’s other cultural high life is within walking distance. As from january 2008 the hotel will be completely non-smoking!!

We have 12 rooms, from one-person up to three-person. All double and triple rooms have toilet and shower in the room. All rooms have television, small refrigerator and wake-up system.

Parking space (paid) is available just outside the hotel in the street or just around the corner in the guarded car park.
