The magnificent facade of the house, a monumental building, already indicates the beautiful interior.
Behind Seven One Seven’s front door a marble floor is revealed with a solid oak staircase leading to two enchanting suites with a view at the front of the house towards the Prinsengracht dating back to the 17th century. And to six roomy suites and rooms at the back that look out onto the patio.

Breakfast is served either in your room or downstairs in the Strawinsky Hall and in summer - weather permitting - on the patios. In the Strawinsky Hall, between the handsome Irish drapes covering the five French doors, daylight shines on the beautiful paintings. The grand piano and the generously set tables form the perfect ambiance for a unique and relaxed start of the day.

After a day of business meetings or after exploring the splendid city, the guests are pampered with tea, pastries and drinks, either on their rooms or in the lounge or the patio. Here too, our main purpose is creating a relaxed atmosphere and ‘A feeling of home far away from home’

  Each of the 8 deluxe suites have been designed individually and appointed in a specific style. This has been achieved by mixing antiques with modern accents. All suites are decorated with colorful walls and windows in combination with contrasting fabrics and wallpaper. They have been furnished with carefully selected antique and contemporary items such as beautiful settees, large comfortable chairs, elegant tables and cabinets. The walls are decorated with modern and classical art. All suites and rooms are equipped with: Bang & Olufsen DVD-set, hifi stereo set with radio and cd-player, ISDN-connection for telephone and computers, Wireless Internet, English box spring matrasses (twin), blankets that are specially woven for Seven One Seven, 100 % cotton sheets and pillow-slips, towels and bathing wraps, minibar, safe, stationary and adjustable heating.
