• location was excellent and the rooms/beds although due for renovation soon, they were really comfortable.


• the only problem was there was not a lift in my part of the hotel and i struggled to get my luggage up the very steep stairs.

• it was located an easy walk away from the main tourist areas. the breakfasts were good.


• no key to the in room safety deposit box was offered. the room did indeed have a tv as advertised but the volume control was broken rendering it useless which since i was paying for the use of it was ridiculous.

• we loved the location of the hotel as it was very central but also in a nice quiet street....the staff were polite and helpful and the quad room was was comfortable and adequate for 2 adults and 2 kids...bathroom was modern but small....

• the breakfast was very good: 4 different cereals, different kinds of toast, orange juice, a variety of jams and so on. the location was very quiet, but really close to the "grachten" and the jordaan quarter.


• there was mildew in the bathroom, and the heat regulation for the shower was not working. the room was rather small and in poor shape overall, e.g. the towel rack was loose and the closet small and poorly crafted. the door could only be closed by force. the staff was not very welcoming, sometimes i evenfelt like an unwanted house guest. the breakfst room was arther small, so people had to wait for a seat, which did not contribute to a relaxed breakfast setting. overall, i would not recommend the hotel to friends.

• its a great hotel, well-located, very clean. their beds are very confortable and the shower very pleasant. breakfast is good and various.


• the staff is not very smiling. stairs are very stiff, so its a bite difficult to get up your suitcase. open hours of the breakfast is not very adapted : from 7.30am to 9am. so everybody takes their breakfast at 8am and there is not enought tables!
