Le Dam

La periode Flower Power dans les années 60 dans les Pays-Bas était symbolisé du fameu Dam-dormeurs, un groupe de hippies qui fessait du camping sur la place De Dam.

the hotel is in a good position for the train station, site seeing.

our room was quite dark as the lighting was not very good. and there wasnt plug socket near to a mirror apart from the one located in the bathroom.

l shaped single room was very dark and could have done with more lights. the walls were thin noise could be heard from adjoining rooms and noisy school children runing around the corridors late at night.

kamers onderling waren wel wat gehoriger; ontbijtbuffet was erg uitgebreid, m.u.v. broodsoorten; bedden zijn gedekt met lakens en dekens - is een beetje uit de tijd, je verwacht dekbedden.

soundproofing needs to be improved; requested for refund because i had to leave a day earlier but was told i could inform the reception staff on the day of my departure. however, when i did that, was told i had to cancel a day before to get refund. i was in a hurry and did not have time to negotiate. in other words, because i was given a run-around (or wrong/insufficient information), i did not get the refund for one nights stay.
