This is a Bohemian-like district (called De PIJP) with many little inexpensive artistic and curiosity-shops and not far from it the most expensive shopping street of Amsterdam "P.C. Hooftstraat", with the famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh-museum a block away. Opposite the Van Gogh-museum the famous Concert Hall.
