• het is een goed initiatief om jonge mensen het vak te leren, maar voor een duur hotel als "the college", komt alles zeer knullig over.

• ontbijt service was slecht on onbeholpen, dit ondanks de hoge prijs. ondanks dat het personeel nog in opleiding is, is het niveau van het hotel dusdanig (ook in prijs) dat er een prettige en rust uitstralende service verwacht mag worden. dit is not niet in orde.

• reception was good. staff at arrival and departure welcoming and courteous. room was comfortable and a decent size. public rooms were well designed. taking everything into consideration, i.e. the student nature of some of the staff, we would come again.


• lighting in the bedroom was difficult to work and generally not bright enough, particularly in the bathroom. we had just one meal (breakfast) in the dining room. the cook did an excellent job, but the waiter service and dining room supervision was unbelievably bad, truly farcical. the order had to be repeated several times to 3/4 waiters. the staff appeared to be unable to concentrate or had collective amnesia. supervision and organisation needs urgent attention.

• - zeer kleine kamers, zonder bad en dat voor een overnachting van euro 300 (incl. ontbijt) - problematisch uitchecken (rekening klopte niet en vervolgens moeilijk doen en maar laten wachten) - wodka/bacardiflesjes in minibar gevuld met water- -geen ijs - ontbijt op bed - de helft ontbreekt - maar het dubbele bedrag komt op de rekening - prijsstelling is "top end" terwijl personeel grotendeels ronduit onbeholpen is.
