• 1. no television despite site saying all rooms equipped with colour tv. reception staff indifferent to this. 2. sky light window in attic room with no blind or curtain. therefore awakened by sun each day at 6a.m. 3. on third day in late afternoon returned to room for a rest having bought eye blinds. skylight opening mechanism broke. could not open it. room was unusable in late afternoon heat. told receptionist who told me that it was to prevent burglary. this was rubbish as it had worked the previous two days but he didnt know i had been there. he tried to open it himself and got really irritated and said he would try to get someone to come, he would have to ring the manager. i went down to reception 30 minutes later and said that i would move to the spare twin in my friends room. he said fine but i could not have a refund for my own room for that night. i insisted that the room was unusable with no ventilation. he then rang the manager and obviously got a "no" on the refund and only then it seemed did he ask about someone being sent to fix it. it was still not fixed when i went out at 7.30 but was when i returned much later. 4. for the price and location i was expecting basic, not even comfortable accomodation. but an attic room with a skylight and no shade was ridiculous in late june. it was a very negative experience.

• op de derde verdieping kun je heel goed ruiken dat daar de rokers kamers zijn. je kunt niet pinnen in het hotel

• zeer goedkoop. geschikt voor backpackers en als slaapplaats. in kamer valt verder niet te verblijven. bed was goed.


• kamer was vergeven bij aankomst. kreeg wel (grotere) kamer voor zelfde prijs. tv werkte niet, afstansbediening onvindbaar. dekbed er dun en niet erg warm.

• my room was really small and i didnt like to stay in th underground basement.

• very friendly and efficient staff, reasonable quietness for being almost in the heart of the city, good location


• less serious: would be good to have an elevator for the suitcases, bathroom door was quite squicky. more serious: the toilet did not flush, hot water tap was leaking a little. however, this can be easily fixed, so altogether it was quite good.

• it was clean. we had our own toilet and shower although it was very small. the staff seemed friendly. very quiet neighbourhood, we didnt hear anything except when people were in the hallway, which was minimal.


• the stairs to the 3rd floor were very steep and maybe even dangerous for some people. the room was very tiny. no remote control for the tv.

• great location and communal areas lovely. very clean from what i could see


• my room did not have a window! it was thus really really hot and the hotel did not even have a spare fan so sleep was very uncomfortable and no fresh air is a bad thing. staff couldhave been friendlier - not hughly welcoming.

• het ontbijt was zeer klungelig geregeld. eén koffiepot met inhoud van 5 kopjes koffie voor 60 ontbijtgasten was belachelijk. iedereen moest telkens wachten op zijn beur voor een kop koffie. schaf er 2 koffiezetapparaten van blokker voor 25,00 euro bij aan. voorts was er niet genoeg zitruimte bij het ontbijt voor de gasten. sommigen moesten een half uur staand wachten!!!
