Information about The Toren

The Toren is a unique Romantic Classic Hotel situated along one of the picturesque canals in the centre of Amsterdam. The warm colours of the classical, romantically decorated interior, combined with the rich history and rustic surroundings, all provide a special atmosphere. The hotel’s ground floor, including the bar, lounge and reception, has recently been redesigned by the famous Dutch designer Wim van de Oudeweetering. All of the 38 luxurious rooms are finely decorated and equipped with all modern comforts and facilities including air conditioning and Wireless Internet. Deluxe rooms on the canal side feature whirlpool baths, while some rooms overlooking the garden at the back have big, bright French windows.

The hotel has 38 luxurious and comfortable rooms, including two plush bridal suites with a two-person Jacuzzi. The rooms as well as the conference room are equipped with all modern facilities incl. air-conditioning and wireless internet.
The Toren is situated in the city centre of Amsterdam at an idyllic place along the stylish “Keizersgracht” canal in the picturesque neighbourhood of the ‘Jordaan’. The surroundings of this fine, luxurious four star hotel offer you easy access to several tourist attractions and cultural events. Just around the corner you will find the ‘Anne Frank House’ and less than a 5 minute walk away will bring you to the ‘Dam Square’, surrounded by historical buildings such as the ‘Royal Palace’, ‘Beurs van Berlage’ and shopping area. Trams stop within 100 meters from the hotel to bring you within a couple of minutes to the ‘Concertgebouw’ (Concert Hall), ‘Rijksmuseum’ and ‘Van Gogh Museum’.

Cancellation & conditions

Please note that the hotel is NOT available for GROUPS! A maximum of 2 rooms can be booked at once.

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up until 48 hours prior to the arrival date. When you cancel please ask for a cancellation number. In the event of a no show or when cancelling within 48 hours of the arrival date, we will charge a one night “no show” or “cancellation” fee. Reservations made during congress periods have different cancellation policy.
