In de directe omgeving van het hotel ligt het Joods Historisch Museum, het museum verzamelt objecten en kunstvoorwerpen die een relatie hebben met de religie, cultuur en geschiedenis van de joden in Nederland en haar voormalige koloniën. De verzameling is verdeeld over de museumcollectie en de mediatheek. De museumcollectie omvat meer dan 11.000 kunstvoorwerpen, ceremoniële objecten en historische objecten. Slechts vijf procent van deze collectie is permanent in het museum te zien. Het andere deel van de collectie verblijft in het depot en wordt soms gebruikt voor tentoonstellingen, ook in andere musea.

jammer dat de keuken net verbouwd werd toen we er aan kwamen en dat dat niet vermeld werd op de site we kregen wel 10 euro korting per nacht maar probeer maar voor tien euro een fatsoenlijk ontbijt in amsterdam te krijgen voor dat bedrag,

the offered hotel room was totally unacceptable; dirty, very small - basically a bed with four walls around it. we therefore cancelled the reservation on site and moved to another hotel

superlage, der aufstieg(sehr steil, sehr eng) in die 4. etage wurde mit einer tollen aussicht belohnt

das bad war bei unserer ankunft nicht sehr sauber (haare, schimmel in der dusche) und wurde auch währen unseres 3-tägigen aufenthalts nicht gereinigt
