In a warm style, the restaurant De Keizerskroon is a lot more than just a restaurant in a hotel. Four times a year there is a new menu reflecting the season, in which traditional French country cooking is always influential. Naturally, vegetarian dishes and seasonal specialities feature largely on the menu. The creativity of our chef and his team is reflected in the special Bilderberg Menu, so expect a surprise when you choose this. That the service in this restaurant has one aim only becomes instantly clear: to allow the guest to enjoy a fantastic evening in a surprising and personal way.

Whether it's for an intimate dinner for two or a stylish banquet with family, friends or colleagues, our à la carte restaurant provides all the ingredients for a stylish evening. Add to this the expertise of our chef-de cuisine and sommelier, and you'll experience a gastronomic evening to look back on with the greatest pleasure. The restaurant is complete non-smoking, however it is still possible to smoke in the lounge.

A few minutes walk from the centre of Apeldoorn, the Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon provides a great view of the Paleis 't Loo. So it's not entirely surprising that, many years ago, this hotel welcomed Tsar Peter the Great as one of its first guests. The Palace Het Loo takes you back to days gone by. While the sparkling centre of Apeldoorn provides a wide variety of trendy shops and entertainment facilities.

De Keizerskroon has an excellent restaurant as well as a number of magnificent venues for dinners and receptions, including Royal Palace "Het Loo". Guests can relax in the indoor pool, sauna, leisure centre and there are plenty of opportunities for sports and outdoor recreation.
Public Transport
Take bus service 1 at the train/bus station. It leads to "Kerschoten/Het Loo". Stop at "Koninklijk Paleis" ("Royal Palace")(ask the driver). We would advise to take the taxi cab at the station.

The hotel has private parking, 100 places.No possibility to reserve.
Across the hotel there is free parking.
The hotel also has a private parking garage. The costs are EUR 10 per day.
From 1 July the entire hotel is smoke-free. Until then, 19 smokers-rooms are available.

Thursday 25th of December 2008, 1st Christmas Day
After a good night sleep the royal breakfast buffet is set ready for you.
In the morning you can enjoy music from the Young Pianist Foundation
In the afternoon there is an optional program:
Around 14.00 hours you can enjoy a walk through along the most beautiful places on the Veluwe, guided by a professional forester.
You can also pay a visit to the Joop van den Ende’s Musical ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ starting around 16.00 hours.
In the evening you are expected at 19.30 hours in the royal lounge for an aperitif and an amuse and afterwards you can enjoy the exquisite five course diner dansant. The diner is musically guided by the Down Town Trio

Friday 26th of December 2008, 2nd Christmas Day
2nd Christmas day starts with the Royal Christmas Brunch. For the early birds there is Christmas bread and coffee available. In the afternoon you can enjoy the Dutch sport Klootschieten (similar to jeu de boules), guided by Halbo Bosker. Another option is tickets to the matinee show of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat musical. The show starts at 14.00 hours.
Back at the hotel you will have plenty of time to dress for the evening occasion of the Royal Gala. Evening dress is seen as a great compliment! In the evening, a royal horse carriage is set ready to take you to the Palace ‘Het Loo’, where the royal staff is ready to receive you with a sparking aperitif and delicious hors d’oeuvre. In the majestic Ballroom we serve a five course diner. The musical guidance is arranged by the Quartet Bon Ton. The royal diner is ended with coffee, drinks and friandises near the open fire.

Saturday 27th of December 2008
After a wonderful night rest an extended breakfast buffet is set ready for you. After breakfast it is time to say goodbye. Naturally we do not send you home empty handed! Or do you prefer to stay for another couple of days?
All diners are including matching wines, coffee or tea and bonbons. The musical is excluding in this package. For all activities counts: Reservation is mandatory. Transport is taken onto own account. Should you prefer to be escorted by a taxi, then please feel free to ask reception to arrange this for you.
