Information about Hotel Molendal

Nearby the Sonsbeekpark, just a few minutes walk from the city center of Arnhem, you'll find Hotel Molendal. This former mansion of Mr. André de la Porte, was build in 1904 and is considered as the first house in this area.

The original Jugendstil hotel Molendal owns 17 rooms. The interior design is adjusted to style of the buiding and you will see that the rooms are very spacious. All rooms have a desk, for the business guest to work at.

All our rooms have a shower, toilet, telephone, television and differ in size. If you have trouble with stairklimbing, Hotel Molendal, has also rooms available on the ground floor. Several rooms have a view on the lovely park Sonsbeek in the hart of Arnhem. In the morning you can use breakfast in the serre of the hotel. Hotel Molendal does not own a restaurant ('Hotel sans restaurant'), but we can recommend several nice restaurants in the neighbourhood, within walkingdistance of the hotel.

When you enter Hotel Molendal the tension of a busy day falls off your shoulders. The entrance is one of the nice parts of the hotel that is characteristic for the time when it was build, nothing has been changed since. The staircase shows the way to the seventeen beautiful decorated and large rooms, all with shower toilet, phone and TV-set. In the morning you can enjoy a luxurious breakfast buffet. Hotel Molendal is completely dedicated to your conveniences and it's something you can experience from your room to the lobby of the hotel.
The hotel does not have a secured parking place. In the street you can park your car for EUR 1.00 per hour. In the neighbourhood there are free parking places.
