Café Heeren van Oranje

A charming meeting place
Bordering the magnificent Mastbos wood is the Grand Café Heeren van Oranje, an ideal place for a culinary meeting with acquaintances, friends or family. You are very welcome for a cup of coffee, a (business) lunch, an extensive dinner, or a drink on the antique arc. "Heeren van Oranje" owes its name to the unity of Breda with the Oranges. Breda is part of the Union of Orange Cities and for more than one and an half centuries, was the residence of the Nassaus in the Netherlands. The Grand Café breathes the atmosphere of historical grandeur, also because of the antique bar and the authentic ceiling ventilators.
Cuisine
Let yourself be culinary surprised by Chef-Cook Jeroen de Zwart and his kitchen brigade. The menu offers a choice of surprising dishes. Besides French cuisine, you can also enjoy typical local dishes and specialities. We would be delighted to advise you about an appropriate wine-food combination.
Unique in Breda
The terrace faces exactly to the south, offers a view of the magnificent wood and is open 365 days per year. In the winter months there are plaids on your chairs to give you the possibility of a cup of coffee or a hot chocolate after a delightful walk in the woods. For riders, Heeren van Oranje has an own horse post, easily seen from the terrace and the Grand Café.
Grand Café Heeren van Oranje is open on weekdays from 7 a.m. until midnight and on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. until 1 a.m. Lunch is served from midday and dinner from 5.30 p.m. till 10 p.m.
