Hidden away in the countryside of the province of Drenthe, hotel De Tovenaarsberg is located in a historical farmhouse at the edge of Coevorden named Holslot. Legend has it that a wizard used to live on the spot where the hotel now stands. The farmhouse has been converted into a veritable fairytale hotel. You will stay in a room that has been furnished in the style of the Tales of a Thousand and One nights. The menu in the tearoom lists special snacks, such as flying carpets, troll balls or dragon fire. Taste the mysticism and enjoy one of these magic meals!

The fairy-tale hotel has eight theme rooms, each with its own atmosphere. The Elf Room, for instance, has a sparkling starry sky and a sunken bath, the Dream Room has clouds on the ceiling and golden angels above the bed and the Magic Room has a romantic sofa and an incense burner on the table. The rooms are provided with every comfort. If you are curious to see the other rooms, you can take part in the guided tour which takes place every day between 2 pm and 4 pm. In the teahouse and the Heerlijckheid restaurant you can enjoy an organic breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can also hire the entire hotel. Groups of up to 24 people can then be catered for.

Your credit card details are required to guarantee your booking up to your arrival at the hotel. Payment will be made exclusively to the hotel. If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 28 day(s) before your date of arrival. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.) Any booking not taken up and not cancelled 28 day(s) before arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night. A different cancellation policy may apply for group bookings.
