This lovingly restored castle, dating from 1270, lies in an area of exeptional beauty between the towns of Heerlen and Sittard.
The stunning buildings surround a courtyard area with tables and seating to enjoy in sunnier climes. Large windows throughout the hotel create a naturally bright environment. There is a large glass conservatory extension for the lounge area.

The kitchen of Kasteel Doenrade focuses on the Mediterranean cuisine and especially on the local culinary tradition.
The classical-modern interior of the restaurant has been recently renovated with care. The furniture is very comfortable - truly inviting for a nice and relaxing dinner. The big fireplace creates a special atmosphere. The tall windows make the room bright and offer a nice view of the terrace and the drive of the castle.
The hotel has 3 functions rooms for receptions, meetings, private dinner parties and celebrations. These rooms are equipped with modern and sophisticated facilities to cater to your needs.
We also provide the service of car rental (price upon request) and a shuttlebus to the airport of Aachen
