Landhotel de Greune Weide is located near the city Haaksbergen, which is famous for his wonderful nature. The Buurserzand is a 400-hectare area of heathland, sand drifts, woodland and pools. The protected juniper bush flourishes here in great abundance, as do other rare plants and animals. The largest pool - the Buurser Mere - is a much-loved spot. The 'Bommelas' farmhouse is a well-preserved example of a 'los hoes', in the local style of traditional half-timbered architecture, once inhabited by both people and cattle.
