Eindhoven also has an abundance of cultural attractions. Interesting museums to visit include the renovated Abbe Museum of modern and contemporary art, and the Kempenland art museum, located in the Steentjeskerk church. The two museums characteristic of Eindhoven, which are well-known throughout the Netherlands and worth a visit, are the Philips museum and the DAF car museum.
The city of Eindhoven also has some pretty parks to visit, especially in the south of the city. A five-minute walk will take you from the hotel, past the Dommel river, through the beautiful city park, all the way down to the Genneper Parks - an area of gorgeous natural scenery, which also features the Prehistoric Village of Eindhoven
