Hotel Doldersum is situated in a farm dating back to 1900 and has been renovated over the last years. The character of the hotel has been kept even after the renovation. The hotel is located in the village of Doldersum and has a marvelous view over one of the most beautiful nature areas of the Netherlands. The hotel is surrounded by a large garden with a nice terrace.

The hotel has a historic feeling with a modern touch. During the renovation the hotel used many natural materials and colors. The hotel has 16 rooms, a delicious restaurant, a breakfast room and a very cozy bar.

Thanks to the location in the southwest of the province Drenthe, bordering to Friesland, this hotel is the ideal location for hiking and bicycle trips through the area. Cyclists don’t have to bring their own bicycles, Hotel Doldersum has enough bicycles for all their guests.

Hotel Doldersum has one single room, one family room for 4 persons and fourteen double rooms. All rooms are equipped with luxurious beds, a seat, flatscreen TV, telephone and a bathroom equipped with a sink, shower and toilet. All rooms are newly furnished, with natural colors and materials. Two rooms are equipped with a balcony. Nine rooms are equipped with sliding doors and an outside seating area. Almost every room provides guests with the possibility to sit outside.The comfort of the rooms guarantee you a pleasant and undisturbed rest.

Our chef focuses on seasonal and regionals products. The organic meat is from farms all over the neighborhood. The herbs and spices are from the herb garden of the hotel. This is not an organic restaurant, but it offers a wide variety of fresh and honest products. The restaurant is decorated with tables for two or four and a large master table. There is also a cozy bar area with high tables and bar stools.
