The Bonnefanten Museum


The Bonnefanten Museum in Maastricht, The Netherlands is the foremost museum for fine art and contemporary art in the province of Limburg. In 2009 the museum celebrated its 125th anniversary. The museum is housed in a building designed by the Italian architect Aldo Rossi. The building is sometimes considered as an example of postmodern architecture. With its landmark cupola overlooking the River Maas, it is one of Maastricht's most prominent modern buildings.
The combination of old art and contemporary art under one roof gives the Bonnefanten Museum its distinctive character. The department of old masters is located on the first floor and displays highlights of early Italian painting and Flemish and Dutch painting from the 16th and 17th centuries. Exhibited on the same floor is the Neutelings collection of Medieval sculpture and an entrancing presentation of Maastricht silver.

     Familiaal karakter. Goed verzorgd hotel en dito ontbijt. Goeie ligging.
     De beschikbare kamers gekoppeld aan de prijzen waren iets aan de hoge kant.

     Goed ontbijt zelfs 2 gekookte eitjes ipv van 1.,vriendelijkheid en vertrouwen dat er als er geen personeel aanwezig is je toch wat uit de bar mag pakken ,maar natuurlijk wel even opschrijven
     Kleine douche,kwaliteit prijsverhouding van de kamer kwamen niet over een. Voor de prijs zijn er wel betere kamers.

     Het ontbijt! Daar waren we heel blij mee.
     We vonden de douche straal nog al hard. Maar verder was alles prima.

     Ontbijt was uitstekend evenals de bediening.
     Kamers zijn erg klein en niet goed schoon. Badkamer erg sober en gedateerd. Bedden waren in orde.

     Fijne ontvangst, gastvrij.
     Hygiëne niet optimaal. Haartjes in afvoerput. Bedden wel erg zacht.

     Goed verzorgd ontbijt en prettig in omgang met de gasten. Treinstation op 5-10 min. lopen.
     Het was niet duidelijk dat de ingang niet aan de voorkant zat ondanks de toegangsdeur. Maar dit heeft geen afbreek gedaan aan ons bezoek.

     Erg vriendelijke mensen en een zeer goed ontbijt alles lekker vers en bereid terwijl je wacht.
     De gordijnen waren te klein en daardoor erg licht. En de bedden schoven steeds uit elkaar.

     Ideale ligging, 5 minuten van het station waardoor je heel snel in Valkenburg bent. Anders ben je daar ook je parkeergeld kwijt. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en als je 's avonds in de bar zit wordt je nog verwend met een snack bij de borrel. Het ontbijt is erg goed verzorgd en de kamer zien er gezellig en schoon uit.
