Veluwe

National Park De Hoge Veluwe is one of the Netherlands' oldest and largest national parks. It consists of no less than 5,500 hectares of woodland, heathland, lakes and driftsand. Together with the Kroller-Muller Museum and the sculpture garden it offers a unique combination of nature, art and architecture.

De Hoge Veluwe is a park where visitors can still find plenty of space and peace. Where you can walk undisturbed for hours, or cycle using one of the free white bicycle. It is home to many endangered plant and animal species. Have you ever come face to face with a red deer, moufflon or roe deer? It can happen at De Hoge Veluwe!
Alongside peace and space, there is also a lot to do in the Park. To protect the peacefulness, the activities are concentrated in the central area of the park. A wide range of sporting, cultural and educational activities are regularly organised for young and old.

Golden Tulip Garderen is situated in the middle of the forest of the Veluwe, just outside the picturesque village Garderen. Enjoy walking and cycling routes or visit one of the tourist attractions in the Area. (national Park the Hoge Veluwe with the Kröller Müller, Palace Het Loo etc)The hotel is easy to reach, only 3 minutes by car from main highway A1 and has ample own parking facilities. Golden Tulip Garderen offers 97 hotel rooms. All rooms have shower or bath, toilet, television, wireless internet and telephone. Also hairdryer, mini fridge and safe. 73 of our rooms have airconditioning. 2 of our rooms are completely adjusted for disabled quests. Per April'08 we have sauna facilities
We also have a gym and a beauty salon.

In our attractively appointed restaurant Columbus is daily opened for breakfast and dinner. Our lunchbuffet is available on days on which conferences take place in our hotel. (mostly from monday till friday) and on request. Our a la carte menu changes regularly.
