The Grand Hotel Frans Hals is situated right in the heart of Haarlem behind the Gothic church of St. Bavo, and close to the Teyler’s Museum. A new courthouse and the Philharmonic orchestra are located on the same grounds as the hotel. All places of interest in the historic town centre are within walking distance.
The capital of the province of North-Holland has an attractive old town centre with a score of pretty courtyards and some of the finest museums in the Netherlands.
Haarlem has a great variety of shops, and has been officially voted best shopping city of the Netherlands!
Zandvoort beach is only 10 kilometres away from the city and Amsterdam can be reached in 20 minutes, which makes both places great to visit for a day out!
