The National Park, the Sallandse Heuvelrug, is situated around the hotel De Uitkijk. Sallandse Heuvelrug is named to the Iceaged wall, the Saalien. The ancient woords are not there anymore, however next to the heath you'll find new woods planted recently. This National park is a the ideal place to get away from the daily drag. The park is ideal for walks, cycling, horse riding etc.
