Hotel Winselerhof is situated on the edge of the splendid Strijthagerbeek valley. The building, a distinctive country house built in the sixteenth century, now accommodates a marvellous four-star hotel. The building has retained its authenticity, but has at the same time been refurbished to create an extremely comfortable hotel, where the past and the present day meet each other in a very stylish manner. There are 49 luxury rooms and suites grouped around the characteristic inner courtyard. Vaulted ceilings and wooden beams impart these rooms with a unique ambience. On leaving the hotel, you immediately find yourself in the midst of the truly unspoilt nature; the Mondo Verde world park and the indoor ski resort SnowWorld are both within walking distance.

The convivial vaulted ceilings of our historical country house also accommodate Luigi’s Trattoria lunch restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious Italian lunch in a delightful setting. We offer you a variety of hot and cold dishes, three-course menus, salads, ciabattas and a selection of superior wines. The menu changes daily. On sunny days, we serve lunch on the sheltered patio in the historical inner courtyard.
The exciting Mondo Verde world park and indoor skiing facility, SnowWorld, are located just a stone's throw away from WinselerHof. Within walking distance of the hotel, you can find tennis and squash courts as well as an equestrian centre. The new zoo, GaiaPark Kerkrade (opening on 23 April 2005), is certainly worth a visit. The hotel is situated at the heart of the Euregion: in fifteen minutes you can be in Aachen, Maastricht and the Belgian cities of Liège and Hasselt are all less than 30 minutes away by car.
