Overste Hof lies in the middle of the much acclaimed nature area of "Strijthagen" which in its place is part of "Park Gravenrode" a silence area where woods, meadows, birds, ponds and walking trails form the backdrop. If you would like to go shopping or are interested in culture, you have ample opportunity in Aachen, Heerlen, Maastricht or Liege. As we are so centrally located in the "Euregio" area, you can even be in the German Eiffel or Belgian Ardennes region where you can still taste fresh air, within three quartres of an hour.
