Shopping Lisse
The centre also features a broad selection of restaurants, cafes, lunch rooms, terraces and several cosy pubs. The shopping centre is partially covered. As it is closed to motor vehicles, it is very appealing to pedestrians. No wonder the centre draws shoppers from throughout the region.
Weekly market (on mondays)
If you happen to visit Lisse on a Monday, it might be nice to combine your trip with a visit to the market. Held through wind, rain or shine, this colourful market features several dozen stands. Villagers and outsiders alike enjoy doing their weekly shopping here, strolling past a dizzying array of (fresh) produce and other wares, including vegetables, bread, pastries, fish, clothing, fabrics and snacks. The market is held at the Haven/Grachtweg, which is within walking distance from the centre. Stands open at 11:00 and close at 16:00.

All renovated rooms are equipped with an aircooling system. Private swimming lessons are given in the pool. During these sessions it is not allowed for hotel guests to use the pool. Golden Tulip Lisse is a superior first class hotel, located next to De Keukenhof, the famous flower exhibition. The different lakes in the area (Westeinder, Braasemer and Kager) are ideal for watersports.

From 17 November 2008 until 21 November 2008 is our swimming pool closed because there will be some maintenance activities.
Just like the years before, can you enjoy the Christmas fair on the 11, 12, 13 and 14 December at Landgoed Keukenhof. You can buy lots of Christmas products and Christmas articles. The Christmas fair is open from 02.00 pm until 09.00 pm.
