Park hotel Hugo de Vries is accommodated in a stately villa built in 1904 and is located in the picturesque green village of Lunteren on the Veluwe.
Since 1987 the estate is a three star hotel with 42 spacious, modernly decorated and completely renovated rooms, all located on the groundfloor. The hotel is on the edge of the Gelderse Vallei and the Veluwe, a beautiful location in an area surrounded by wood, heith and sand-drifts. Lunteren also happens to be the geographical centre of the Netherlands.

Every morning between 07:00 and 10:00 h. the hotel sets up a delicious continental breakfast buffet in the breakfast area. In the pleasant hotel bar guests can comfortably enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice drink. In the months of May through September it is possible to have dinner in the atmospheric restaurant on request. In Lunteren and its surroundings there are many good restaurants.
From 1 October till 1 April, the hotel close on Sunday's at 12 o'clock. The hotel is closed from 21 December till 1 Januari.
A Little history:
Professor Hugo de Vries lived from 1848 until 1935. He was born in Haarlem and died in Lunteren. He became famous for his mutation theory and the introduction of the terms 'mutation' and 'gene'. He retired in 1918, he was seventy years old by then, and went to live in Lunteren.
