Montfoort is an historic city close to Utrecht. In the city guests can still visit castle Montfoort, the 'Commanderij' (chivalric estate), and the old city hall. From the hotel guests can take a nice walk or bike ride through the surroundings. Going through the nature area 'Het Groene Hart,' for example, guests can pay a visit to the small picturesque city of Oudewater, with its preserved monumental townscape. Guests can also go even further and reach the lake 'De Reeuwijkse Plassen.'
