Besides the many parks in Nijmegen, those who enjoy a good walk or bike ride can explore the nature area 'De Veluwe', which is not far away.
Also, the area between the 'Maas', 'Waal', and 'Rijn' rivers, as well as the hills of Berg en Dal, are well-worth visiting.
