From the hotel there are direct cycle- and walking possibilities. Om 300 metres from the hotel you will find the Veluwetransferium. In 2003, the Forestry Commission has opened a Nature Activity Center.
Here you can learn, on a playful way, the wonders of nature on the Veluwe. Also there is a lot of attention for the many different kind of birds that find their habitat in the surroundings of the Lake Veluwe.
There is a tower at the transferium that you and your children can climb. From 30 metres above the ground you can see Lake Veluwe. Should you not be able to climb the tower, than there is a television screen on the bottom of the tower, where you can see theviw by means of a camera placed on top of the tower.
