Mansion Hotel Bos & Ven has a glorious past. In 1919 some gentlemen decided to start a big hotel in the extensive woods of Oisterwijk. A year later, on June 15th 1920, the first visitors officially visited the hotel. From the very beginning Bos & Ven was a popular hotel in the higher class and in first class families. The most prominent guest of Hotel Bos & Ven, without any doubt, was the Dutch queen Emma who arrived by royal train in the thirties. In 1944 resided the from banishment returned government of Prime Minister Gerbrandy in Bos & Ven. For many years, the hotel acted as holiday-home for the employees of a banking concern. 80 years after establishment, in 1992, hotelier Henk Verhoeven managed the glorious revival of Bos & Ven and turned the hotel into a grand manner again.

Since 2008 we only have non-smoking rooms.

Mansion Hotel Bos en Ven offers 40 hotel rooms and suites. All our accommodation is classified Grand Luxe and is spacious and comfortably appointed. The use of traditional style elements lends a different character to each room with views over the peaceful rural environment. The romantic à-la-carte restaurant of Mansion Hotel Bos & Ven offers gourmet food; each season of the year is reflected in a culinary theme with a special 4-course menu. In the Spring we may offer a menu based around asparagus dishes, and in the Autumn a superb game menu. Our seasonal menu demonstrates that one can dine economically in a 4-star hotel.
